# Create a Wallet

* **Creating a wallet is as simple as a tap of a button.**

* **VESPR doesn't require you to write down your seed phrase prior to wallet creation.** Wallet backup happens after the wallet is created.
* **VESPR supports both hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallets and single-address wallets.**
* **VESPR does not support sub-accounts.** This is because it introduces many unnecessary technical complexities that complicate both the user experience and the dApp developer experience. Therefore, if you want to leverage multiple accounts, you can create multiple wallets, which VESPR makes very convenient.
